WHAT:     TreeFolks NeighborWoods Big Fall Fruit and Shade Tree Giveaway

WHEN:    October 29, 2016, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

WHERE:  Sunset Valley Farmer’s Market, Toney Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road, Austin, TX 78745

WHY:       Shade from trees helps to diminish the urban heat island effect, to lower the temperatures around our homes and to reduce energy bills for everyone.

“Planting trees helps shade our city’s streets and neighborhoods, lowering summer temperatures and energy bills for everyone,” explains TreeFolks NeighborWoods Manager Greg Mast.

“The event is first come, first served. We will be giving out one tree per person, so bring your friends and neighbors! You must be an Austin Energy customer to get trees, so bring your Photo ID or utility bill to prove residency. You’ll have a laugh and learn as our improv comics demo the best way to plant your tree.”

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
