Calculating Your Natural Gas Usage

Unfortunately our local gas company doesn't allow you to access a full year of usage on line. You're going to need a calculator! Add up your checks or guess what you paid for natural gas last year (the whole year). Take that dollar figure and divide it by .00844 (the current price for one cubic foot of natural gas). That is how many cubic feet of natural gas you used last year. It's a big number but don't be frightened. Natural gas burns pretty cleanly!
