SUMMARY:Tree ID for Seed Savers walk in Cedar Park
DESCRIPTION:RESERVE YOUR SPOT HERE!\nJoin Colleen Dieter and Meghan Smith of the Central Texas Seed Savers for an educational walk in Twin Lakes Park. We will meet at the Twin Lakes Family YMCA, 204 E Little Elm Trail, Cedar Park, TX 78613.\nDiscover the fascinating world of trees that surround us! This walk is suitable for all ages and will teach you how to identify various tree species by their unique characteristics. By learning about these key features, you can play a vital role in preserving our urban ecosystem’s diversity and resilience.\nColleen Dieter loves helping DO-IT-YOURSELVERS figure out what to do with their yards. Since founding atxgardens.com over twenty years ago, she’s helped transform hundreds of yards in Central Texas. She believes in creating lush, sustainable green spaces – safer for families, neighbors, pets, and wildlife. Schedule a consultation today or contact Colleen at info@redwheelbarrowplants.com.\nMeghan Smith is a native plant enthusiast, volunteer for Central Texas Seed Savers, and budding botanical writer who read The Lorax too many times as a child. She works in horticulture at a local nursery. You can usually find her crawling around on the ground, petting plants, and looking at bugs.\nThe Central Texas Seed Savers is a growing network of people who love seeds with the mission of preventing the extinction of ecologically and culinarily important plants in the Central Texas Region.\n
