The first part of this training will focus on tree selection, planting location, planting techniques, and care. Then we will move on to learn more about the fruit trees that NeighborWoods will be offering for adoption this season – pruning, pests, grafting – a little of everything.  Afterwards, you will have a chance to visit the TreeFolks Seeds-to-Trees Native Trees Nursery and see what we have been growing!\n*The NeighborWoods program is a partnership with the City of Austin and Austin Energy.\nThis training is free and open to anyone, but you must register to attend ( https://treefolks.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/super-volunteer-advanced-training-nw-and-fruit-trees-9-21-24 ).
