DESCRIPTION:This is not a volunteer opportunity; it is an educational event.\nJoin the TreeFolks Young Professionals for an exciting evening at Barton Springs!\nWe’ll start with a tree identification walk around the south side of Barton Springs/Zilker where we’ll learn about different tree species. Afterwards, we’ll head into Barton Springs for a sunset swim to cool off.\nThis is the perfect opportunity to learn something new, meet some new people, and soak up the beauty of Austin’s urban forest 🙂\nLooking forward to seeing y’all there!\nDetails:\n\nDate: Wednesday, August 20th\nTime: Tree ID Walk from 7pm to 8pm; Barton Springs swim from 8pm til sunset/close\nWhere to Meet: Barton Springs SOUTH entrance. We will be exploring the trees on the south side of Barton Springs this year.\nCost: Free to attend! If you choose to join us at Barton Springs, you’ll need to buy a ticket for entry, but the Tree ID walk will be outside of Barton Springs\nParking: If driving to Barton Springs, please make sure to park in the south side parking lot (1000 Azie Morton Road).
