DESCRIPTION:RSVP to volunteer here!\nReady, Set, Plant! is a volunteer tree-planting program that plants 10,000 trees each year along Austin’s creeks and rivers. In partnership with the City of Austin and Keep Austin Beautiful, we educate volunteers on proper tree-planting techniques and riparian restoration. Some benefits of creekside planting include cooler water for aquatic life, erosion control, and filtering pollutants from stormwater. Our events are family-friendly and provide an opportunity for community members to connect with Austin’s public lands.\nNo experience or tools are needed.
