SUMMARY:CTP Sapling Sorting and Mulching
DESCRIPTION:Here is an opportunity to help the TreeFolks staff get thousands of saplings (baby trees) tucked in a warm blanket of mulch while they wait for planting day. You’ll help provide tree care for saplings that we will plant later during the season. Have fun and get your hands dirty at the TreeFolks office. This is a great opportunity to get familiar with the dozens of native tree species we plant.\nWe will meet at the TreeFolks headquarters at 10803 Platt Lane, Austin, TX, 78725.\nNo experience necessary! We will provide gloves and all other supplies, as well as coffee, water, and snacks. We look forward to working with you!\nPlease dress for working outdoors. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle and take breaks when you need to!\nIf you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Volunteer Manager, Gillian:\nvolunteer@treefolks.org ( mailto:volunteer@treefolks.org )\n(512 )761-8738 cell\n*All minors must be accompanied by an adult.\n
