DESCRIPTION:Fruit Tree Planting and Tree Care at Urban Roots South Farm\nJoin TreeFolks to plant trees and provide tree care at the orchard at Urban Roots South Farm! You will help TreeFolks plant over 40 fruit trees and provide basic tree care, such as mulching, weeding, and pruning to retain moisture around the roots, prevent weed growth, and protect trees from extreme temperatures. You will learn a lot and have fun serving your community! Urban Roots donates at least 75% of the fresh produce they grow each year to increase food access here in Central Texas.\nThank you to HDR for sponsoring this event!\nNo experience or tools are needed.
