In the heart of East Austin, a remarkable collaboration has taken root, intertwining environmental stewardship, artistic expression, and community engagement. TreeFolks, The Vortex Theater<\/a>, Huston-Tillotson University<\/a>, and the creative team behind the performance MOTHERTREE<\/strong> have come together to cultivate a shared vision of growth and interconnectedness. Directed by Bonnie Cullum and featuring choreography by Toni Bravo, the production invites audiences to journey through a magical landscape where the wisdom of trees offers guidance and reflection. The narrative follows Amber, a young woman seeking to scatter her mother’s ashes, as she is led by a fae named Thyme through a world rich with ecological insight and emotional depth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n\n\t
