November 17, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Click here to reserve your spot for upcoming Tree ID Walks here!

On November 17th, we’re hosting a FREE Novice Tree Identification Hike at the Mueller Hangar (1550 Mueller Blvd, Austin, TX 78723). This hike will be led by Collin McMichael, the Education Coordinator for TreeFolks, in partnership with the City of Austin.

Our hike will be on November 17th, from 10 am to 1 pm. This hike is an introduction to our Urban Forest Stewards class beginning in January. Collin will explain the basics of urban forest stewardship and tree identification. Feel free to attend whether you want to brush up on your tree knowledge or dive into your new world of tree id.

Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring lots of water. Refreshments will be provided. All ages are welcome! We’ll see you there!

Urban Forest Steward education and training program is a partnership between the City’s Community Tree Preservation Division and TreeFolks. This program helps to implement Austin’s Urban Forest Plan with support from the Urban Forest Replenishment Fund.
