Anna comes to us from Oklahoma where she grew up watching the Redbuds bloom in the spring. It was her father’s constant quizzing of tree species that sparked her interest in nature at a young age. She has a BS in Recreation Management from Oklahoma State University and a passion for preserving public land for future generations. She serves as Board Treasurer for our neighbors, Austin Youth River Watch. In her spare time she can be found exploring the longest stretch of barrier islands in the world on the coast, or wandering through the mountains of West Texas with her husband and two dogs. Anna’s favorite spot in Austin is on the patio of a cantina with a bowl queso and a Mexican martini.
