Rich DePalma is the principal of My Gov Partners, a public-sector business development consulting firm. Over the last decade, Rich has worked with Fortune 500 companies in identifying opportunities to assist the public sector in meeting their missions and goals through innovative solutions and services. Prior to working with the private sector, Rich worked as a consultant administrating complex procurement studies and services for government clients such as the U.S. EPA, State of New Jersey, New York City, and City of Boston.
In addition to TreeFolks, he also currently services on the Austin Parks and Recreation Board as Vice-Chair, the AISD Facilities and Bond Planning Advisory Committee, the Balcones Canyonland Conservation Plan Citizens’ Advisory Committee, and the Downtown Commission. Previous service includes the Oak Hill Association of Neighborhoods, the Austin Parks Foundation Board, the AISD Strategic Planning Team for Governmental Affairs, and co-founder of Friends of Dick Nichols Park. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona and performed coursework at the University of San Diego School of Law. Rich is also a proud graduate of the 2013 Austin City Works Academy and the 2015 Leadership Austin Essentials Class.
