By February 9, 2018No Comments

TreeFolks is excited to welcome Russell Bond to the NeighborWoods team!

Russ is a native Texan and grew up in the Navasota River Bottom exploring the woods and watching nature. In 2013 he completed a B.S. in Resource and Environmental Studies and a Certificate in Water Policy from Texas State University. His passions surrounding river restoration, conservation of public spaces, and protection of water quality have culminated into a deep desire to engage with the public to protect and enhance Texas’s invaluable ecosystems. Russ spends most of his time learning about his connection to the environment and participating in conservation efforts, water quality initiatives, and recreational activities. In his free time you will find Russ on a bike, in a kayak, trail running with his dog Bear, or exploring the Chihuahuan Desert in search of the brightest night sky. Before joining TreeFolks, Russ worked as a Project Manager for TCEQ’s Clean Rivers Program.

If you see him, say hi and welcome! We’re happy to have him aboard.
