UFS Workshop 3: Advanced Pruning Techniques

UFS Workshop 3 is the third UFS workshop covering the topics of pruning, wounds, and healing. Vit Kaspar will be teaching students based on his experience growing orchards in Starr County. Afterward, the class will adjourn to the TreeFolks Orchard to practice pruning on fruit trees with help from Cedar Creek Tree Farm. Registration is $25. In partnership with the Community Tree Preservation Division, TreeFolks is giving away 200 free trees to Austin Residents and Austin Energy Electricity customers through our NeighborWoods program. Our fourth and final giveaway of the season will be at the H-E-B on Manchaca and Slaughter Ln from 9 am to 12 pm. Trees for the Blanco FINAL Planting Event

This is our FINAL Trees for the Blanco planting event. We will be planting saplings along a stretch of the Blanco River. This event is part of a 4-year program to help reforest the banks of the Blanco River damaged during the Memorial Day Weekend Floods of 2015.
