Join TreeFolks at the Elisabet Ney Museum for our fourth Sapling Giveaway of the season as part of Elisabet Ney Nature Day! We will be giving away multiple varieties of saplings to the Central Texas community. There are no requirements to receive your free tree except to show up and pick your tree, and then promise to care for your tree for up to two years. In partnership with Austin Energy and the Community Tree Preservation Division, TreeFolks is giving away 500 free trees to Austin Residents and Austin Energy Electricity customers through our NeighborWoods program. Our tenth and final adoption event of the season will be at the H-E-B at Lamar and Rundberg - 9414 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78753. Volunteer Planting Event for the Travis County Floodplain Reforestation Program as part of It’s My Park Day!
Come plant trees with us along Bellingham Meadows Greenbelt for our newest reforestation program serving eastern Travis County as part of It's My Park Day! During this family-friendly event, TreeFolks will break ground by helping volunteers to plant native trees. This event will be held on Saturday, March 7th from 10 am-1 pm and will be held on private land near Elgin, TX.
