CANCELLED: NeighborWoods 200 Tree Adoption

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
TreeFolks will be distributing 200 FREE TREES at Bowie High School’s MLK Day of Service event to honor Dr. King’s life and teachings!
TreeFolks is taking part in the Bowie Band Gives Back Project’s inaugural day of service, where local nonprofits will be connecting with students and families throughout Austin to share volunteer opportunities and program initiatives.
No reservations necessary — all 5-gallon trees will be available for pick up on a first come, first served basis at the TreeFolks tent in the Bowie parking lot on Monday, January 17, from 9am to 12 pm.
Additionally, organizations will have collection bins for donation items such as diapers, pet supplies, canned food and more to support their unique causes. Join the Bowie Band and Guard program, Austin Allies, TreeFolks, and many more of your favorite local nonprofits to continue the gift of giving past the holiday season.
The TreeFolks NeighborWoods Program is a partnership between TreeFolks, Austin Energy, and the City of Austin. Help spread the word and enhance the health of your neighborhood tree canopy by sharing this event!
