NeighborWoods 500 Tree Adoption at Austin Discovery School

In partnership with Austin Energy and the Community Tree Preservation Division, TreeFolks is adopting 500 free trees to Austin ri Discovery School

esidents and Austin Energy Electricity customers through our NeighborWoods program.

Our sixth adoption event of the season will be at the Austin Discovery School. Trees are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will distribute one tree per person in attendance. Please bring a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency.

Trees are subject to availability. Below is a list of the tree species we’ll be adopting:

Large Stature:
Live Oak
Cedar Elm

Medium Stature:
Chinquapin Oak
Anacua

Small Stature:
Mexican Buckeye
Yaupon Holly

Fruit:
Peach ‘June Gold’
Pomegranate ‘Salavatski’
