TreeFolks Summer Education Series: Soil and Tree Health
What is the connection between soil and tree health? How can learning more about soil health contribute to our success in urban forestry? This beautiful and wide-ranging presentation reviews different types of local soils, has a technical section about soil properties, and shows examples of soil types as related to tree species. It ends with real-life local site examples of urban soil in different settings, especially as related to human activities on tree root zones.
