TreeFolksYP March Happy Hour & 5k Fun Run/Walk

Please join us for TreeFolksYP’s March happy hour and a social 5k run/walk along Lady Bird Lake’s famous boardwalk.

This will be a very welcoming, inclusive, and easygoing 5k fun run, with emphasis on the fun more than the run! All types of runners and walkers are welcome, including kids and furry kids. No time trials here, just sunshine, exercise, and good companions enjoying a peaceful afternoon after SXSW ends and it’s okay to drive in Austin again.

From Buzz Mill, we’ll head down the street to the lake trail, turn left, and keep going until we get to Auditorium Shores (where the Long Center is). Then, we’ll simply turn around and head back. No crazy turns here!

Once back at Buzz Mill, we’ll have our usual stimulating conversation about trees, the environment, and upcoming volunteer opportunities!

Finally, keep in mind the person who brings the most people will win a $25 tab at Buzz Mill!!!
