TreeFolksYP Invasive Species Workshop/Volunteering followed by Oskar Blues Brewery

Join Keep Walnut Creek Wild and TreeFolks Young Professionals to learn how volunteers can stop glossy privet (Ligustrum lucidum) in its tracks and recover the woods for native plants.

The specific location of our workshop within Walnut Creek Park will depend on various conditions. We will email all registrants with details and update this announcement when we decide.

We will be working in the brush, so long pants and sturdy shoes are a must. If you wish to avoid scratched up arms, long sleeves are a good idea.

We’ll head to Oskar Blues Brewery on Metric for lunch/a drink after the event.
