Celebrating Our First Tree Adoption Event of the 2025-2026 Season
The NeighborWoods team conducted its first Tree Adoption Event of the season on Saturday, October 4th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the H-E-B located on South Congress and Slaughter Lane. Enthusiastic nature lovers lined up as early as 9 a.m. to get two trees from the following selection:
- Chinquapin Oak
- Monterrey Oak
- Rough Leaf Dogwood
- Pecan
- Peach
By the end of the event, all 500 trees the NeighborWoods team brought were adopted. This is an excellent start to the season!
We are eternally grateful to H-E-B for hosting this event at their location.
