What is the connection between soil and tree health? How can learning more about soil health contribute to our success in urban forestry? This beautiful and wide-ranging presentation reviews different types of local soils, includes a technical section on soil properties, and shows examples of soil types as they relate to tree species. It ends with real-world local site examples of urban soil in different settings, particularly as they relate to human activities in tree root zones.
