Adopt a Tree: Carver Museum NeighborWoods 500 Tree Adoption Event

TreeFolks is giving away 500 free trees, available for pick-up on Saturday, March 5th, at The George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center from 10 AM to 2 PM. Trees will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

All trees will be 5-gallon in size and will fit in most medium-sized vehicles.

The TreeFolks NeighborWoods free tree program is a partnership between TreeFolks and the City of Austin.

Trees are subject to availability. Below is a list of the tree species we’ll be adopting:

Large Stature:
Burr Oak
Montezuma Cypress
Cedar Elm

Small Stature:
Mexican Buckeye
Eve’s Necklace
Texas Mountain Laurel

Fruit:
Pomegranate
Fig ‘Texas Everbearing’
