Tree of the Year Bike Tour 2024
Austin’s Tree of the Year voting is now open, so join TreeFolks Young Professionals for a bike tour to learn about some of our amazing nominees!
** This is a ticketed event. You must get your ticket through bike.tfyp.org **
- We’ll start at Austin High School (meeting by the Tennis Courts) and will ride in a loop with frequent stops to learn about Austin’s favorite trees.
Bring your own bicycle. (This year’s route will be on roads, bike trails, and gravel paths) - The slow pace and numerous stops makes for a beginner-friendly ride
Please bring at least 32 oz of water, a helmet, comfortable shoes, and a hat or sunglasses - Meet at 9:30 am and we’ll leave around 9:45 am
- Tickets are a $20 donation to TreeFolks to support tree planting across Central Texas. TreeFolks Young Professionals members tickets are a $10 donation (Find more info on becoming a member for as little as a $20/year donation at https://treefolks.org/yp)
- Stick around for lunch at our final stop at The Picnic Food Truck Park
