By August 7, 2014No Comments

Parkinsonia aculeata - Kari Gaukler, TreeFolks 2013Please join us to celebrate Tree Folks 25th anniversary with a tree identification walk at our office and the nearby river trail. We will begin in the Tree Folks office with coffee and pastries.  Then, we’ll move outside to explore the trees around the office and amble down Platt Lane to the nearby trail that leads to the Colorado River.  Thaïs Perkins, Tree Folks new Executive Director, will join us and she is excited for the opportunity to meet you and share a lovely morning in nature together. This is a rural area and you are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.  You may even spot some of the resident wildlife–deer, cotton-tails, and a variety of birds and butterflies.

Saturday, August 30, 2014 @ 8:45 am
