Austin, TX – January 12, 2026 – TreeFolks, a Central Texas nonprofit dedicated to planting and caring for trees in the communities that need them most, is honored to announce that it has received a donation through Billie Eilish’s Changemaker Program, made possible by proceeds from her North American tour and distributed via REVERB.
Thanks to Billie Eilish and her fans, through Eilish’s groundbreaking Changemaker Program, a donation from her North American tour was made to TreeFolks via REVERB, a non-profit entrusted by Billie Eilish to steward the distribution of these funds across North America through their Climate Impact Fund.
Billie Eilish’s sold-out HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR has raised $11.5 million to help support important organizations, projects, and voices dedicated to food equity, climate justice, reducing carbon pollution, and supporting other crucial environmental work in combating the climate crisis.
TreeFolks will use this support to advance its mission of expanding the urban forest across Central Texas, particularly in areas that experience extreme heat, flooding, and historic underinvestment. Trees planted and cared for through TreeFolks’ programs provide long-term benefits, including cleaner air, cooler neighborhoods, improved mental and physical health, and stronger community resilience.
“Music has a powerful way of bringing people together, just like trees do,” said Andrew W. Smiley, Executive Director of TreeFolks. “We are deeply grateful to Billie Eilish and her fans for turning the energy of live music into real, lasting climate action. This partnership reminds us that creativity and care for the planet go hand in hand, and that when people come together around shared values, meaningful change can take root.”
TreeFolks joins a network of organizations across North America supported by the Changemaker Program, all working toward a healthier, more just future through tangible, community-based environmental solutions.
